CD1 Track 4: What does the Kriya Yoga Master expect of His disciples?

Guru never expects anything from His disciples. What are you going to do to help the Guru? Guru wants his disciples to go for their own betterment in Kriya Yoga practice only. Disciples have to focus on their own spiritual practice and have their own experience. This is all.

It is not right to focus on the Guru’s activities. Because you never know what he is doing or what he wanted. It is very difficult to understand.

So please, follow what the Guru is telling you. He is giving the direction that is good for you in order to find the destination you are seeking, but he cannot walk the path for you. He is your guide, because he has already walked the path, and he can show the way, but you have to walk by yourself. Guru is giving you the tools to become self-sufficient and independent. With Kriya practice, you have all the tools that you will ever need. Discipline is needed, and it is important to read the Bhagavad Gita every day. In Patanjali Yoga Sutras there are also many answers. Self-help is the best help.

In Truth, you cannot give anything to Guru. It is important to understand that anything you do give to Guru it has to come in a natural way from the heart – and if you are giving to Guru in physical terms, you have to realise that in actuality you are giving to your own Self, your own Soul. There should be no fear of separation in mind.

So go on with your practice. This will be best.
